3 Step Formula For Unlimited Confidence

By Coach Rishabh · December 23, 2016 · 3 min read

Confidence is the reflection of success. Successful people are inherently confident. That’s why many people try to fake this trait of winners; they are trying to fake success which is not there. Let me tell you that most of the time, fakers DO NOT make it. Why?… because they don’t have a stable base of real success to support their ‘confidential’ structure. A mild blow of reality check is enough to collapse their house of cards. And these people end up with an even lower confidence state than earlier. It is devastating for the mind and the spirit.

So now the real question is that how can a person, who hasn’t experienced his avalanche of success yet, grow confidence and become a real winner at life?

Well, take a pen and paper, turn off all the distractions around you and start reading. Follow the instructions as provided. By the time you’ll finish reading you’ll get an answer to your question along with an outline of your success plan. So pay attention.

STEP 1: Set a Huge Unreal Goal For You

This is the most important step, and NO there is not a typo in it. You got to set a delusively unrealistic goal for yourself. Forget all that nonsense about being realistic in your goals and expectations. It is for non-achievers and whiners. If you want to become a real winner in life set BIG goals, Period.

The purpose of a huge goal is to deeply inspire you to keep moving forward. No matter how inconceivable it appears to other people, you should believe in it (Koriat). It could be a 450 Kg squat; an Arnoldesque physique; or an Ambani like business empire.

Take your time to think about it and note down your BIG goal on paper. Anything which inspires you to the core is fair game.

STEP 2: Split your BIG goal into sub-goals.

After successfully completing the first step and getting inspired profoundly, it’s time to develop an action plan. Divide your BIG goal into as many sub-goals as minimally required. You don’t have to plan out every intricate detail, but just a blueprint for a path to follow. Only brainstorm the sub-goal you’re just about to follow and plan it exclusively. Write down the steps you need to immediately follow.

Let’s assume you want a 200 Kg Bench Press, and right now you can press only 100 Kg. You’ve got a daunting goal to double your strength. But don’t scare away, split it into small steps. Your first step here is to increase your strength by 5 Kg. Plan your progression only for this 5 Kg increment, sort out your weaknesses and layout a suitable periodization plan.

STEP 3: Work like a Madman.

Finally when you’re set to tackle your sub-goal, mark a short deadline to achieve it. This is very important. If you fix a long enough time limit, you become lazy and miss the goal eventually which is bad for your confidence (Feather). Even if you achieve it, still it is not a very efficient manner to function. So, set a short deadline and get going.

When you are in hurry to get the tasks done and have no time to waste on trivial issues, you develop an unassailable work ethic. It literally feeds self-confidence and authoritativeness.

As soon as you start working like a madman to achieve your destination, you’re set on the path to unlimited confidence and success.
