Rio Olympics 2016 had just passed. Media went crazy singing praises of our country’s pride & joy, the medal winners, viz. P.V. Sindhu & Sakshi Malik. Dipa Karmakar too was applauded for her unprecedented feat of entering into finals of the vault event.
But do you actually believe that these medals have brought back home glory and not the distressing plight of the sports culture in our country?
Lots of things had happened in this global event this year which had put our proud nation with the population of one-sixth of the world’s total population into a state of ignominy. We don’t want to get into details of these stories for the sake of this post’s length as well as sanity. But these occurrences instigated deep emotions in our mind to help and reach out to the athletes, professional as well as amateur, all over the country.
Enter ISST
ISST is a manifesto of war against the bigotedness of certain prejudiced coaches, officials and the fitness & health industry in general who tend to sell their souls for moolah and turn a blind eye towards the nation’s honor.
ISST is an open invitation to empathetic authorities to open up. To put forward an initiative towards the brave athletes who don’t even shy away to put their lives at risk to win a medal for country’s glory.
ISST don’t put out rehashed, mundane and timeworn information circulating on other blogs and websites. The methodology presented at ISST is unique & unparalleled in the sense that it is not just research founded but tried and tested in the trenches to wield its superiority and efficacy. This also means that ISST may not be politically correct.
We believe that for the strength training to be effective for an athlete, the whole system of training should be fluid so as to reap the maximum benefits. The goal of ISST is to:
- Educate and inform the coaches as well as athletes, and incidentally the commoner.
- Cultivate and develop a healthy mindset towards the training systems.
- Provide you best tools to tackle the strength training bull by the horns.
- FIRE you up.
At ISST we treasure strength, boldness, determination, competitiveness, valor & vim. And we highly despise weakness, sloth, apathy & reluctance to step out of comfort zone.
We believe that training should not be performed robotically and just going through motions. Instead, it should be performed with full aggression and vigor. If you’ve no ambition or mission right now, I’ll discourage you to follow ISST. The systems & methods presented here are not for the life-less. But if you’re full of life & spirit and you’re attentive to ISST, it implies you will achieve higher grounds.
It’s time to get up, get going and don’t let anyone stop you.
“Strength is life, Weakness is death.“
Without further ado, let’s embark upon your strength journey.
